About the Journal

Natura Dinarica is an open-access, peer-reviewed international scientific journal owned and published by the Faculty of Forestry, University of Banja Luka.

The journal publishes original contributions that have not been previously published, including original scientific papers, preliminary communications, review papers, and professional papers. Its scope covers forestry, environmental sciences, nature conservation, biodiversity and related disciplines. Manuscripts are evaluated on the basis of originality, scientific quality, relevance, methodological soundness, and clarity of presentation.

Natura Dinarica continues the publishing tradition of Glasnik Šumarskog fakulteta Univerziteta u Banjoj Luci (e-ISSN 2303-694X), established in 2004.

The journal is published exclusively online. Articles are published continuously within each issue after final acceptance and production. Upon publication, each article is assigned complete bibliographic information, including volume, issue, year, DOI, and a unique Article ID, which replaces traditional page numbering.

The journal publishes manuscripts in English and Serbian. Titles, abstracts, and keywords are provided in English.

In accordance with its open-access policy, the journal provides immediate and free access to the full text of all published articles in PDF format.

The peer review process is double-blind. Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two appropriate independent reviewers. The final decision on acceptance, revision, or rejection rests with the Editor-in-Chief.

The journal follows internationally recognized standards of publication ethics and editorial integrity.

The journal is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), which permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided that the original work is properly cited.

The journal does not charge submission fees or article processing charges.
